A Changing of the Guard
I’m pleased to announce that we have a new Assistant Manager at South Yarra, and you’ll be hearing a lot more about Matthew over the next few months. Welcome to the team Matt – we are looking forward to your input and enthusiasm shaking things up at our South Yarra property! Matthew comes to us with years of hotel experience, and is super keen to get involved in improving the guest experience at Caroline South Yarra.
We’ve also recently welcomed back the lovely Natalie to our team. Nat was previously my Assistant Manager in Brighton where we both worked our butts off to develop and promote the brand new property after we first opened it 2.5 years ago. Nat is now a valued part of our South Yarra team, and is helping train our newest team member, Lillan. We’d like to extend a huge warm welcome to Lill who is enjoying her first job in Australia, since she moved here from Norway to study.
And that’s NOT all we’ve got to share...
I also wanted to announce that our spacious and cosy apartments are about to be given a facelift. You heard it here first! We think our Caroline Street property is in the best location in South Yarra. Certainly it’s in one of the most picturesque streets in the area, so we felt that our apartments and guests deserved to be treated to some extra TLC. We’ll be introducing some new artworks, furniture & furnishings and having an overall refresh. We’ll be keeping you up to date with photos of the improvements over the coming weeks. And of course, we’ll be updating our website with some new pics!

Alison has worked with Caroline Apartments since 2005. Starting out as South Yarra's Resident Assistant Manager, to becoming the opening Property Manager of the new Brighton property, and has recently taken on the role of General Manager of both South Yarra and Brighton. Her enthusiasm and fresh outlook has helped the company branch out through social media marketing to boost brand awareness and show off her fantastic team of staff.
What makes her tick? Ali loves discovering cool bars in Melbourne (due to a serious weakness for creative cocktails); she's also passionate about pole dancing (yep!); prefers pets over babies; and cannot imagine life without having a travel adventure to look forward to!
